Start of Operations
ICE was founded in 1996 through the association of ICATEL (the largest manufacturer of public telephones in the Southern Hemisphere) with ANIJES Empreendimentos, which operates in agriculture, real estate development, construction, and service provision.
2001
Production of Coded Inductive Cards
In 2001, began the production of coded inductive cards. The following year, ICE developed a new circuit printing process on cards that revolutionized the inductive card production system. In 2005, responding to the growing market demand in the mobile telephony sector, ICE began producing cell phone recharge cards and prepaid cards.
2007 a 2009
Production of Security Printing
Between 2007 and 2009, once again to meet market needs, the production of security printing began, covering all layers required for centralized and decentralized document issuance. From this point on, the development and improvement of technology systems by internal teams started.
2010
Production of Security Seals
In 2010, began the production of security seals, with a traceability system and biometric process control.
2012
Production of Reflective Vehicle Plates
In 2012, began the production of reflective vehicle plates, in a fully automated process with state-of-the-art German machinery, with production capacity to meet the Brazilian national demand at the time.
2023
Production of the new Brazilian National Identity Card
In 2023, obtained its accreditation for the production of the new National Identity Card (ID cards) in Brazil, both in a security paper format and in a polycarbonate card version.
